Newborn shoots take place in your home or back yard and generally take longer than a regular shoot, usually 1-2 hours. This gives time for feeding, changing, sleeping (me, that is…I’ll probably need a nap). I strongly recommend scheduling the shoot within the first two weeks of life. They are smaller, sleepier, and easier to mold into perfect little models. I do not offer birth photography at this time, but we can do a “fresh 48” to document your hospital experience. Contact me in advance so I can anticipate your due date.

Click the gallery to get an idea of what a newborn session looks like. I work with natural light, either outdoors or near windows. We can walk around and move furniture if needed to find the best light in your home. Sessions are “lifestyle”, not overly posed. Your baby will not be propped up in unnatural positions. We will document that sleepy, wild ride of a newborn stage just how you remember it.

Say hello through the contact form. We’ll schedule a time to hop on the phone and you can tell me how you’re surviving pregnancy and what you have in mind for photos. - Make it official
I’ll send over the booking proposal and you can choose your package. Since we can’t nail down an exact date, we’ll use your due date for now. Next you’ll sign the agreement and pay the invoice and you’ll be penciled in on the calendar! - The Fun Part
I will come to your house and we’ll capture that precious brand new person. You don’t have to worry about the house being spotless – you will not be judged! We can clear piles of clothes away and shoot cropped in tight if we need to. =) - The Really Fun Part
You’ve got mail! Your gallery will come to your inbox with lightning speed. I want you to be able to share these before the newborn stage is old news. You’ll enjoy a slideshow gallery, then have the chance to see what your pictures will look like up on the walls (built in gallery feature). Choose your package (digitals and print credit) AFTER you view your images, so you only get what you love.
INVESTMENT
A session fee of $350 is all it takes to get you on the books! Collections, including digital files and print credit, start at $550. Reach out for full pricing details.
