Maternity

Maternity

In the Oven

Tampa Bay Maternity Photographer

Capture this special time of anticipation (while you still have the energy ;). Maternity photos are best done in the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy. Your belly is big enough to show, but not so big that you can’t move around. Don’t forget about pregnancy announcements and gender reveals!

How it works around here

  1. Reach Out
Use the contact page to email me and then we’ll find a time to chat on the phone about all the things (how is pregnancy treating you?! What kind of vibe are you going for with pictures? Interested in announcements/gender reveals? What should you wear?)
  2. Make it Official
I’ll email over the booking proposal and you can choose your package, sign the agreement, pay the invoice and officially get on the calendar!
  3. The Fun Part
We’ll shoot at the park, beach, downtown, or your home – whatever speaks to you! The shoot can last anywhere between 30 – 60 min.
  4. The Really Fun Part
You’ve got mail! The gallery will come to your inbox and you can enjoy it with your feet up on your couch and a tub of ice cream on your belly shelf. First will be a slideshow, then you’ll choose your favorites. The gallery comes with mock up rooms so that you can easily visualize your pictures up on the walls. Download your digitals (however many came with the package you chose) and then add any prints or canvases you’d like.

I am looking forward to working with Whitney again soon! She took some important photos for my family including a pregnancy announcement & my maternity pics that both turned out beautifully. She is gifted in making you feel comfortable during the photo shoot while she works her magic. I am so happy with the way the pictures turned out and can't wait to have her capture more special moments as my family grows. Thank you Whitney for being great at what you do! I highly recommend!

Q&As

Click through some of the most commonly asked questions.

When is the best time to schedule pictures?

In the 7th or 8th months of pregnancy. If we shoot too early, you won’t look pregnant enough. And if we shoot too late, you might just glare at me the whole time. We also don’t want to miss our window to capture these special times if you happen to go into labor early.

What if I go into labor early?

It wouldn’t be the first time! In the past, we simply transfer it over to a newborn shoot! If you aren’t interested in newborn, then it’s no problem to refund. When you give birth is obviously out of you hands!

Do you have a client closet?

I do not. I find that people are more comfortable in their own clothes (especially if trying to coordinate family colors). If you’re hoping for a fancy maternity gown, there are plenty of options out there to rent one! I also have an membership to an online wardrobe consulting company! You fill out a style quiz and who will be in the pictures, an the virtual stylists send you ideas (coordinated for the whole fam) – WITH links to purchase these ideas! It’s amazing!

Can I bring my family?

Of course! This pregnancy is a family affair. It can even take on more of a family session style with a few belly bump pictures thrown in the mix.
